Is this "princess" or what?
I think this one is just gorgeous! I'd love to see it on a baby's head! It's made with two layers of sheer ribbon, with a satin rosette in the center. The only issue I have with this one is how to seal the ends. I can't use the flame, because the ribbon just curls up, and the fray-check leaves a white line. I think a wood-burning tool would work, just haven't tried it yet. I'm also thinking of marabou behind this one - I'll definitely have to try that! =)

New styles!! =)
Of course, the next thing to do is give these little beauties names. And, since I'm still working through my neices names, these are called - the "Laisa Bow" (top) and "Lily Bow" (bottom). Perfect, since they are sisters and the bows are kind of related in style! =)

Thanks for the pic, Becky! Keep 'em coming! =)

Here's one of the Christmas items I'm working on. I have these in this black, silver, brown, blue and red - and a purple poinsettia.

show off your cutie!
I love this photo, because it's her first tea party! And she did it all herself! With boys, I knew there were certain things they didn't need to be taught, like how to make amazing sound effects, and how to play with trucks and tools. Now I'm learning about girls - I guess she was born with "princess" genes! She puts her toys of choice in a basket, and hauls them to these steps. She had it all set up by herself. I came over for a "spot o' tea" too, of course!
second craft fair
I'm glad the big push is over, now I can recup a little and get back to being a wife and mother. Now that I have a good stock of items, the catalogs are updated, and I know the setting up/packing up routine better, I'm sure the next show will be a breeze! =)
I'm really excited about the American Girls Tea Party! I think it will be a great place for selling bows! Hoping to get some parties booked too. It's coming up in two weeks - November 22. Put it on you calenders!!

photo shoot
Here she is showing off the Loopy Bow (still has it's original name!). Which reminds me, I never did announce what I decided to call the two bows whose names were under discussion. Popular opinion said I should call the new one by a girl's name, so the new bow is now the "Diana bow"! Thanks for all your great ideas - especially Melisa- who caused me to realize that bow really did fit my daughter's personality! =)
This is one of those bows that, until you see it on a little girl's head, it can't be fully appreciated! I fell in love with this bow, which is called a "sheer rosette". I love this one for it's airiness, shimmer, and pure sweetness. What do you think?

First Craft Fair!
It was a tiring, but good day. Sales were okay, but the learning experience was great!
So, now thoughts turn to next Saturday's craft fair, and the Feast on 31 and Pierce (the Potato Creek road) near Lakeville. Come see me there!
