Petal Pleasure

Oooh, more little lovelies! I hope you enjoy these pics as much as I enjoyed creating these little charmers! =)
I'm not sure what to call this one! It has several lovely shades of colors - pinks, green, lavender. The gem in the center is a soft purple.

Here they are on a headband. Remember, these are called "Limited Edition" for a reason - I don't know how long I'll be able to find these particular flowers, so get them while you can!

Fields of Blue

Inspirations of watercolors:
"Pretty Petals" in Pale Blue - isn't it so pretty!

Watercolored Blue - this one reminds me of a Monet painting! I love the softly mottled colors!

And, it gets better when they're grouped together:

Pale Blue "Pretty Petals" - three arranged on a skinny elastic headband (yes, they come in white, among other colors - and soon - custom sizes!!!) Just lovely!

Not-Too-Shabby Chic Rosettes

Apparently the name "Shabby Chic" is a trademarked name. huh. I always thought that was a style, like "Victorian" or "cottage" or "hip." So I guess I could be in trouble for the name of my newest creation (shh, don't tell):
I've been calling these the "Shabby Chic Rosettes" because they are made with sheer fabric, like the Shabby Chic clips are:
But, maybe I need a new name. Any suggestion? I have a couple people names in mind, but since creative writing is not my strong point, I welcome input from you!

Happy 2011!

Happy New Year to all of you! I'm so thankful that the holidays are over, and I can get back to housework and bows! =) What have you resolved to do this year? I am serious about getting out of debt this year. We'll see - I'm a bit of a shopaholic. =}

I'll be sending out my newsletter later today. There will be a "special-of-the-month" again - only available to those who are on my list. So, if you want to be on it, check out the "contact me" page.

One of the new things I'm hoping to add this year is formed plastic headbands. I'm hoping to do both the braided kind, as well as covered (with a loop for adding bows).
What do you think? I love the look on bigger girls.

I've also been enjoying using the skinny elastic headbands.

Skinny Elastic Headbands

For the older crowd - flowers or bows attached to those skinny elastic headbands. Yeah, the ones you moms/grandmas/aunts love to wear. Betcha don't have any like these:

BTW - this is my neice modeling these for me. Isn't she lovely?
