Who doesn't love a sale? And I've got one for you - I've been putting a ton of items in my "sale" section of my store. Loads of left-over Christmas goodies, as well as styles that I just have too many of! Check it out before they're gone!
The snow may not be fun to drive in, but it sure has been coming down in such a lovely way! I am not a winter lover - just too much cold, bulky clothing, kids trapped inside, passing viruses. But I can appreciate the beauty of the pure whiteness! Weren't the trees amazing this past Sunday morning! It took my breath away - we were all wondering at the frosted white world on our drive to church. Here's a selection of bows with a snowy theme:
Apparently the name "Shabby Chic" is a trademarked name. huh. I always thought that was a style, like "Victorian" or "cottage" or "hip." So I guess I could be in trouble for the name of my newest creation (shh, don't tell):
I've been calling these the "Shabby Chic Rosettes" because they are made with sheer fabric, like the Shabby Chic clips are:
But, maybe I need a new name. Any suggestion? I have a couple people names in mind, but since creative writing is not my strong point, I welcome input from you!
Happy New Year to all of you! I'm so thankful that the holidays are over, and I can get back to housework and bows! =) What have you resolved to do this year? I am serious about getting out of debt this year. We'll see - I'm a bit of a shopaholic. =}
I'll be sending out my newsletter later today. There will be a "special-of-the-month" again - only available to those who are on my list. So, if you want to be on it, check out the "contact me" page.
One of the new things I'm hoping to add this year is formed plastic headbands. I'm hoping to do both the braided kind, as well as covered (with a loop for adding bows).
What do you think? I love the look on bigger girls.
I've also been enjoying using the skinny elastic headbands.
This is my blog about my obsession - bow making. Check here often for an update on new styles, colors I have in stock, or share your thoughts with me! Items are available for purchase too! Also - contact me if you are interested in hosting a party!
I'm a stay-at-home mom (is that an oxymoron?) who much prefers to do crafts over housework. I like a clean home too, so I do housework when I can't stand it anymore! =)I love every stage my kids reach, and feel so blessed I can stay home to teach them Biblical values for their lives.
